Cisco Certifications have become a premier certification in the I.T. industry and those that have passed the grueling exams command some of the highest salaries in the business. As of March 2003, Cisco has awarded 500,000 certifications.
Cisco certification is now in the 3.0 version of their exams. CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, and CCDP certifications are valid for three years, while the CCIE is valid for 2 years from the date of passing. For more information about recertification, please visit Cisco's Website.
There is a wide variety of Cisco Certification tracks to choose from. Exams can be taken at VUE testing centers and typically range between $100 and $200 U.S.
