Is there any easy way to save all the emails from the server (or even just a storage group) without them being in a database file? I need to be able to extract all the emails from several accounts without having to save them individually.

If you are running an Exchange mail server you can use the exmerge utility to extract all mail from the exchange database.

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=429163EC-DCDF-47DC-96DA-1C12D67327D5&displaylang=en

This is one of the most usefull utilities for a poorly Exchange server and has saved my backside many times.
