I start up my mates computer and then All i get is Explorer.exe has crashed.

Then it just closes up on me and you have to press the on button it restarts and does the same thing.

I recently installed Avg and Adware to remove some viruses and spyware.

Got rid of spyware but did not get a change to remove the Viruses.

I can boot into Safe mode.

Can you help

Maybe doing a little clean up on the Run folder could do the trick.

Remove items you dont need ...

Type: regedit on RUN

then navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > MICROSOFT > WINDOWS > CURRENTVERSION

Then check out the folders:

1 - Run
2 - RunOnce
3 - RunOnceEx
4 - RunServices

Hope I could help

If it is a damaged system file, it might work.. I think you need to use the /scannow switch.
