I have an interview with IBM for a Technical Support Specialist - Storage position. I am A+ and Network+ certified, I will have my AA in Information Systems in March of 2011. I have only a few months internship experience doing Desktop Support Technician work that has ended. Its been really ruff and a long wait trying to get work.
Like many, I have offered myself as free to many companies in hope of gaining some real world experience, but this has not lead to any success.
The position is full time with benefits, its entry level requiring no experience, training will be provided where applicable. The only bad thing but not really, is that the job is 1 hr and 20 mins away. I think they offer relocation assistance, if not i will have to drive back and forth until next month when I will have the money to pay for a place. I have kids whom live with there mothers and I only see on the weekends. So moving there really isn't an issue because I can drive to see them on the weekends.
If given a job offer, or when asked during my interview what are my salary requirements, I'm not sure what to ask for, or what I'm worth being that I lack experience and am a newbie.

Really? My advice is that you take what they give you. Really, no experience, mean not being in the position to ask for anything. Take whatever they give you work your ass off and get it down as experience. _________________ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gMCZX0AvmzE
