Hello
I have an XP machine that goes into black sreen after loading Windows XP. The mouse cursor is still active, but I can not even start task manager by pressing ctrl+alt+delete, and the issue is still there even if I start XP in safe mode. The safe mode text is there in the corners, but the screen is totally black, and I can not do any form for troubleshooting. It stays the same if I try safe mode with command prompt as well.
I've tried Last known good configuration, but to no avail.
Any ideas on what could be causing this? I've tried to google for a solution, without finding any. _________________ MCP: 210

Tried a different video card driver? Remove the old one in safe mode and restart. See if Windows uses the default driver _________________ CCNP, CNE (NetWare 5), MCP (70-270, 70-290)

Hi this srikanth
Boot from XP Live cd
Restore the system and restart the system.
This will give solution.
so will reformatting it, but that's not much of a solution is it? _________________ CCNP, CNE (NetWare 5), MCP (70-270, 70-290)
