| Well half....if you get it in this year, they don't expire. Anyone after that will have to retest every three years. |

It really depends on the job you are looking for. By this part in your career, I would expect you are far past the benefits of having an A+. I got mine ~10 yrs ago...haven't used it since.

| I would run a malware scanner (Malwarebytes, etc) and see what happens. Trojan is a virus, malware is its own beast. It almost seems like a browser hijacking to me. |

| I would go with Windows 7 unless you have a lot of experience with XP. If you have experience you can probably take the test with minimal effort. If not, go for the new technology. |
