New Testing Center
We had hoped to announce the our new Testing Center in our October 1st newsletter. Unfortunately, there are still a few bugs with the software that we are working on and we anticipated that the announcement will be made in our October 15th newsletter.
The new Testing Center will offer timed exams, a report card where you can check your past performance, and many other new features. There will also be new exams including LPI, RHCE, VB6, SQL and more.
New Forums
This is somewhat old news, but I do not believe that we have announced it in our newsletter yet. About a month ago, we migrated to new forum software. You can check out the new forums at http://www.mcmcse.com/forums/. If you were registered for the old forums, your username and password will work in the new forums.
Contest Results
The grand prize winner of our contest has been confirmed. Ginger has won the Career Academy Windows 2003 MCSE Training Kit having a retail value of $2,500. We are waiting for confirmations from the 2nd and 3rd place winners.

| New Company Combats Cheating |
|
Caveon is a brand new company that provides consulting for testing vendors to battle the rampant cheating problems on all kinds of tests. Their scope covers everything from University exams to Certification tests. The company is comprised of industry experts including former Microsoft, Novell and HP employees.
Their web site states: "The introduction of Caveon represents the beginning of the end for test cheaters and thieves". You can read their press release here.

An article on Cisco's web site states that IP Telephony certifications awarded have doubled since last year. According to the article, industry analysts are expecting 40% growth in IP telephony between now and 2007. To read the full article, click here.
