SURVEY RESULTS:
The most recent survey that we posted, asked the following question: Which of the following describes your feelings regarding braindumps?

There has been a lot of discussion/fighting on various message boards that I frequent regarding the topic of braindumps, which is the catalyst for this question. Before we get started in this discussion, I would like to point out that a lot of what you will read here is my opinion and based on our personal ethics and morals.

The general definition of a braindump is a posting of information regarding an exam after one has taken it. There are many hardliners out there that argue that disclosing ANY information at all about an exam is a violation of the NDA(Non-Disclosure Agreement). These people are actually correct. I received information from Microsoft that verifies this. The punishment for using and posting them can cost us our certifications under copyright law. This is the legal side to the argument that really cant be easily debated. It is Microsofts exams and they can make their own rules, therefore it is irrelevant to this discussion as we are all required to follow these rules.

So lets take a look at the survey results:

57% answered They are OK if you know the material
29% answered They are OK no matter how they are used
9% Using braindumps is cheating - period!
6% Don't know
(There were 629 respondents)

The results, quite frankly, are just frightening!
