Added a ton of new information to our tutorial on Windows 2000 Terminal Services including installation instructions.
After several complaints regarding performance problems in the Testing Center, we have cleaned out the database and it appears to be loading the exams much faster now.

| New Microsoft Certification: |

Microsoft has announced the release of their new developer certification, the "Microsoft Certified Application Developer". The MCAD is a pared down version of the MCSD. The most noticeable difference is that MCAD candidates are only required to pass two core exams and one elective exam. Microsoft's FAQ describes the difference between the MCAD and MCSD as follows:
"The MCAD for Microsoft .NET credential is appropriate for professionals who use Microsoft technologies to develop and maintain department-level applications, components, Web or desktop clients, or back-end data services or work in teams developing enterprise applications. MCSDs for Microsoft .NET are lead developers who design and develop leading-edge enterprise solutions with Microsoft development tools, technologies, platforms, and the Microsoft .NET Framework."

There are very few virtual simulation products for MCSE certification. We had the opportunity to review the "MCSE: Windows 2000 Core Requirements Virtual Lab" by Sybex. This product offers labs for the MCSE core exams (70-210, 70-215, 70-216 and 70-217). Read our review.
