WHATS NEW @ MCMCSE:
Here is what weve been up to:

We have completed our new study guide for the A+ Core Technologies(220-201). The free study guide can be found at http://www.mcmcse.com/comptia/aplus/notes/2001notes.shtml.

We have upgraded our test engine and now have the ability to include exhibits in our questions as well as various other new features. All practice exams are now in 1 location in our brand new testing center at http://www.mcmcse.com/cgibin/quirex/index.cgi.
A new practice exam for the A+ Core Technologies(220-201) can be found in our new testing center at http://www.mcmcse.com/cgibin/quirex/index.cgi. A new practice exam for Network+ certification can also be found in the testing center.

We have remodeled the CompTIA section of the website to match the format of the MCSE section. We will be doing the same with the Cisco section.

SURVEY RESULTS:
Our most recent survey asked, "Will you be taking the new A+ exams?". The results are as follows:

Yes - 60%
No - 40%
There were 779 respondents.

The A+ certification is perfect for those newer to the computer industry as well as those with a lot of experience. Unlike other certification programs, once you receive youre A+ cert, you are always A+ certified. For more information about A+ certification, visit http://www.mcmcse.com/comptia/index.html

DEALING WITH THE TECHNOPHOBIC:
Almost all of us in the industry deal with those that require support for tasks that we feel that they should be able to take care of on their own. Whether it be an end user, a customer or someone working in your department. How many times have you had to help someone create a shortcut on their desktop, change their default home page or print a document? Do you have a co-worker in your IS department that isn't at the technical level that they should be? How often do you have a customer request support for the same problem every few months/weeks/days?
