WHATS NEW @ MCMCSE:
Here is what weve been up to:

We released a new practice exam for the Windows 2000 Accelerated Upgrade Exam(70-240) that can be found at: http://www.mcmcse.com/win2k/practice/702401.shtml. There are over 130 questions in the pool!!!

We are working ferverishly on our new A+ study notes for the 2001 objectives. The notes for the Core Hardware exam(220-201) are about 30% complete. We have decided to provide our newsletter subscribers with access to the work in progress as many people are already studying for the exam. The notes can be found at http://www.mcmcse.com/comptia/aplus/2001notes.shtml. Please note that this guide is NOT complete and will be updated over the next couple of weeks until completion.

Our apologies for the disarray of the forums. The latest issue was preventing users from posting. This has been corrected. The new version of this software should be out very soon and will be much more stable and provide new features such as the ability to create your own surveys. In the meantime, feel free to post your questions and thoughts at http://www.mcmcse.com/cgibin/forums/ikonboard.cgi

************************************************************************ A+ HOME LAB:
A while back we wrote an article describing the process for setting up a home lab for MCSE certification(See http://www.mcmcse.com/articles/newbieguide.shtml). The A+ and MCSE certifications are very different beasts and we realized that we needed to give some advice on creating a home lab to study for the A+. To read the full article go to http://www.mcmcse.com/articles/apluslab.shtml.
