WELCOME:
Welcome to our 21st edition.

A WORD FROM OUR SPONSOR:
Last week hundreds of people got FREE Windows 2000 MCSE questions delivered to their e-mail. Were you one of them? If not, you can sign up for free questions to prepare you for the 70-240 Accelerated Exam at http://70240.listbot.com To see a sample question, check out http://www.2000tutor.com/answers/050900.htm

WHATS NEW:
The majority of this issue will be a discussion of the many new features and services that we have completed and are currently working on.

Many of you have seen our TechTutorials section before, but have you seen it lately??? We have redone the entire section and it is now powered by a robust search engine to help you pinpoint and find the free tutorials that you are looking for. TechTutorials now has its own domain and can be found at http://www.techtutorials.com. What makes this site particularly useful is the time saving opportunities that it presents you. Regular search engines too often return irrelevant results and websites that no longer exist, not to mention that once you click over to the site from the search engine, you now have to navigate the website to find the free information that you are looking for. TechTutorials links DIRECTLY to the free tutorials and information that you are looking for. TechTutorials has its own newsletter that will periodically send you a listing of new tutorials that have been added to the database. You can sign up at http://www.techtutorials.com/cgibin/links/subscribe.cgi or you can view whats new on the site at http://techtutorials.com/New/. Do you have a website that contains free tutorials, tips and tricks, FAQs, etc? Add them to our search engine at http://www.techtutorials.com/cgibin/links/add.cgi. We invite you to use this wonderful new feature and let us know how you like it. If you discover any problems that we have missed in our testing, please let us know and we will get right on it.

A little over a week ago, we released brand new Network+ study notes that can be found at http://www.mcmcse.com/comptia/network/networkplus.shtml. Enjoy!

It has been brought to our attention that our testing engine used for our practice exams has a flaw. If you select an answer and then change it, it will be marked wrong even though you got it right. We have been working very hard to resolve this issue and have found a new test engine that will be in place sometime this week. The new engine does not suffer from this bug and has some other great features. It allows you to select the number of questions that you would like on your exam and it keeps track of the last 25 exam scores so that you can compare your performance to others that are taking the exams. This engine benefits us as well, making it much easier for us to create exams. It will be a huge time saver when we begin creating exams for the Windows 2000 track. As always, your feedback is welcome.

THE PAPER MCSE:
Well we are sure that most of you are quite familiar with the Paper MCSE debates that dominate many of the forums so we arent going to rehash the whole thing. However, a very interesting article cropped up about a week ago on ZDnet that everyone should read as it addresses this issue. This the only time that I have ever seen this issue discussed in the media and is an important first step in making progress towards adding value back to the certification program. There article is located at http://www.zdnet.com/eweek/stories/general/0,11011,2555160,00.html.

SURVEY RESULTS:
Our most recent survey asked, "What would you most like to see from us?". Here were the results:

45% More NT 4.0 resources
27% More Windows 2000 info
21% More general tutorials
4% More career resources
3% More links
There were 805 Respondents.

We take your comments seriously and want to let you know how we plan to address your desires. One of the reasons that we are so excited about our new TechTutorials is because it addresses the first 3 items on the list. You should be able to find a ton of NT information and Windows 2000 will be coming in large waves over the next couple of weeks. TechTutorials database already contains almost 1000 free tutorials and we will be adding more of our own soon. More career resources are on the way. We have a new writer that will periodically provide helpful articles and tips to help you with resumes, interviews and more.

THANKS:
We would like to thank all of you that have made our websites some of the most popular IT sites on the web. Without YOU, there is no US. Good luck in all that you do.
