| :: CompTIA Security+ Objectives Released :: |
|
CompTIA has announced the release of the 2008 Security+ exam objectives. The new exam is expected to be released during the 4th quarter of this year.
According to CompTIA, "greater emphasis is being placed on knowing how to address specific security issues, rather than simply being able to recognize these issues".

CompTIA announced that they will begin the Linux+ update process in July. This will begin with a Job Task Analysis (JTA) in which subject matter experts will evaluate job roles and tasks for those who work with Linux.
