Linux+ Certification Study Guide
Review User:Marathonman
Review Date:1-15-2008
Review Text:I picked up this book to prepare for the Linux+ exam and to fill in my knowledge of Linux after only dabbling in it. I have to say, I found this book to be one of the best certification books I have read. The pages seemed to flow smoothly from one topic to another, and the subject matter was easy to pick up quickly.

The book seemed to be written to the newcomer and also to the reader who has a background in Windows. As I read, I found myself understanding the various differences between Windows and Linux, and this really polished my knowledge of Linux.

This book also went over a lot of the hardware and networking that is contained within the Linux+ objectives. I have to say that I did not really need this information with my background, but it still helped to review.

This book comes with a CD that has 2 complete practice exams, some video training clips, and the entire book in an electronic form so that you can keep it with you on the job for review if you need to. Over all, the writing of this book was excellent and anyone who wants to pass the Linux+ test should pick up a copy.
