| Review Text: | Great source for preparing for the exam. I found the transcender questions to be more difficult than the actual exam !!! Highly recommended. |

| Review Text: | I recently purchased 4 of QuickCerts (specialized Solutions) videos with e-books . Thankfully I did not pay more than £50 each for them. I was promised by the sales guy that the videos alone were enough to see me through the exam. The videos don't even come close they give you a basic overview ot the course material. However there is not nearly enough depth covered. Consequently I failed one of my exams. I recently passed that exam by going back to the books I passed my first MCP with a book and I should have stayed with books which I will now do. I think the videos work well if you use a good study guide but dont expect to pass with their study material alone. |

| Review Text: | I have been in the certification business for a very long time and honestly had never heard of Palaestra Training. To this day, I still don't know much about them or how long they have been around.
Having said that, I received a review copy of Palaestra's CompTIA 2006 Certification Series to check out. The A+ series came on 4 disks, each with multiple videos covering various sections of the exam. These videos are mainly presented in a whiteboard format with the instructor narrating. Various images and diagrams are displayed on the whiteboard, and when necessary, the instructor shows how to do things in Windows itself.
The videos cover the material well and in some instances go way beyond what you need to know for the exam. For example, there is a brief section on Windows scripting and step-by-step instructions for setting up automated Windows installations. But for the person who is hungry to learn, these videos are great. I was surprised that I learned a few things myself.
Palaestra's videos are no-frills, but they have what you need to pass the exams and are as good as anything else out there. As for pricing, they are in the same ballpark as their competitors, so they neither win or lose in that department.
If you need CBTs for your A+ preparation, Palaestra's series is definitely a solid option. |

| Review Text: | Excellent training, very well done, easy to follow with a information packed no-nonsense delivery style. I checked out their free videos at their site, and was really impressed. I'm even MORE impressed with the full A+ series. By far the best training I've seen so far. |
