- MCSE: Exchange Server 2003 Implementation and Management Study Guide (70-284)

Heard a good bit about this book on Amazon, but it came up short.
The testing engine isn't very well done. It had typo's in the questions you couldn't select the amount of questions you wanted. You got 20 for each chapter and 50 on the bonuses. Take less nope. Take more nope.
As for the text itself, there were some problems with some of the content (not that this is new for any technical book). Also the practice tests at the end of the chapter had incorrect answers in the key. For example, you select a. They say d and then reference the response given in a. All in all, I would give it 2 and half out of 5, but don't use this as a primary and certainly not an only book of reference. Without the previous experience with the product, I wouldn't have passed.
- Network+ Exam Cram 2 (Exam Cram N10-003)

I used this to study a few years ago. It was recommended by a friend and it did a really good job of touching everything you need to know. At times I would wonder why it went in to so much detail on topics I considered trivial. At the exam I found out why they did that. It was the perfect study guide. But, as with any book, you should have some knowledge beforehand and have access to diffent types of media and networking components to better your understanding of the topics discussed in the book.

Lots of errors and conflicts with other books. I stopped reading it because I felt it was actually hurting me.
- Network+ Certification All-in-One Exam Guide, Third Edition (All-in-One)

In my opinion the book was more wordy then it had to be and the jokes and puns were distracting. Also some of the examples were a bit on the goof ball side.
Basically I felt it was a pain to read all the junk to get to the meat.
