Back in Action: We hope everbody had a very happy holiday season. We are back to work full speed ahead and looking forward to another great year at MC MCSE. BSCI 642-901 Update: We have begun what will be a long process of updating many of the exams and information on our site. I have just updated our BSCI exam page to 642-901. The following CompTIA A+ 2003 exams are being extended until June 30, 2007: CompTIA A+ Core Exam: 220-301 & CompTIA A+ OS Exam: 220-302. The original retirement date was Dec. 31, 2006, but CompTIA has decided to keep the current exams open longer to accommodate the numerous organizations and schools currently in the middle of training and testing cycles. Training and test preparation materials for the updated CompTIA A+ offering continue to be developed and approved through the CompTIA Authorized Quality Curriculum (CAQC) and CompTIA Learning Alliance (CLA) programs. CompTIA has announced that their Security+ credential has been obtained by more than 30,000 individuals worldwide. Read the full press release here.
Microsoft has announced the Exam Insurance program. Exam Insurance gives you a free retake if you fail an exam much like the previous "2nd Shot" programs did. It also offers 25% off your next exam if you pass the first time. You must purchase exam insurance through a Microsoft authorized training partner in order to receive the voucher. We do not currently know how much it costs, but do know that the price varies by region. This program will be available until May 31st, 2007. Those who purchase exam insurance and take their exam before January 31st will receive a free one year subscription to TechNet Plus Direct. For more information, click here.
Microsoft announced a new MCTS certification exam titled "Deploying and Maintaining Vista Client and Office System 2007 Desktops" that was in beta from December 18, 2006 through January 10, 2007. There is no release date available yet for this exam. For more information about this exam, click here.

First off, they were tried to force me to take all my Gen's BEFORE I could even delve into my Computer Classes (that would have been a year and a half without a Computer Course!) I thought I would try a few classes to see how it would go. I told my Addmissions guy, that I had no money to spend, he assured me it was all taking care of with grants and financing. However before my third class, I get a bill for $1200 to continue. I call Finance, this rude lady tells me I have to remit $1200 or I cannot go anymore. I say, "I cannot Go anymore!" She says, "Well then, since you are not completing 60% blah blah, we are SENDING BACK the money that paid for your 2nd class and you will owe us $1300!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" So after months of fighting between, finance, admissions, and others, and having all of them from the top to the bottom tell me "TOUGH JERK! It's your problem, not ours!" I ended up having to take out another loan to get that class paid for! The sad thing, is the classes weren't bad. BUT THE SALES SCAM behind it, where Nobody "knows" what the other departments are saying and unless you tape your conversations, then you are screwed - haha type of organization makes this a real piece of crap school! **It's mystifying why they did it really. They had the money from my student loans, but BECAUSE I TOLD THEM I COULD NOT PAY $1200 out of pocket, they decided to SEND BACK previous paid money to the Mega Bank so that this guy (you know, the one who doesnt have...MONEY!) can pay us!!! It was totally stupid and unnecessary. And they were SOOOO RUUUDDE! **Dont be fooled by the nice little admissions guy - he's a salesman! Please review the books and products you have used in our training directory. It only takes a couple minutes of your time and greatly helps others.
