WELCOME:
Welcome to our 15th edition.

WHAT’S NEW:
Over the last couple of weeks, we have updated our links site-wide and added some new resources. We are currently hard at work on Windows 2000 study notes that are now underway. We are also developing a easy to read UNIX tutorial designed to aid those of you may need it on the job or those who just want to learn more.

We just added a new article entitled, What makes good I.T. professionals good. It is located in our articles and FAQ section at: http://www.mcmcse.com/study/articles.html.

Look for many new and exciting resources to come in the very near future.

SURVEY RESULTS:
Our most recent survey asked the following question: Have you used Windows 2000 yet?
Here are the results:
30% - Yes
70% - No
There were 946 respondents.

It seems that there are a ton of people still trying to get their MCSE on the NT 4.0 track finished up, or at least get the 3 required exams(70-067, 70-068 and 70-073) out of the way so that they can qualify for the upgrade. It is actually quite surprising that 30% of those who responded have used Windows 2000 already. The majority of these people have probably set up the beta versions at home as any company in their right mind would not be using it in a production environment. It is conceivable that some may be working with it in test labs at their place of employment as well. It is good to see so many people taking the initiative to stay on top of the curve. Kudos!
