New Practice Exam: We have added a new free practice test for Microsoft's 70-290 exam. Currently the practice test only has 10 questions, but we will be adding many more in the days and weeks to come. You can access our free tests in our Testing Center. New CCNA Tutorial: We have posted a new CCNA reference guide titled Introduction to ISDN. This tutorial was contributed by thebryantadvantage.com. For additional study guides, please visit our Study Center. Updated Training Directory: I have updated the Training Directory and improved the navigation somewhat. One of the biggest changes was an attempt to make the "My Favorites" function more visible. My Favorites allows you to add books and training products listed in the directory to your personal list of favorites so that you can go back and compare products that you are interested in. You can also add products that you are currently using to your favorites so that you can go back and rate/review them later to help out others. I also added new sections for LPI training products and books. There wasn't much to add, but they are in there now. More certifications coming soon. Finally, I added a link to discount vouchers to make it easier for you to find. There is also a free I.T. Magazine section that is well worth checking out. We would really appreciate it if you contribute a short review of the books and products that you use. This is a community supported site and your reviews will help others find the best products to use for their exams. Coming Soon: We will be continuing to add questions to our 70-290 exam and a new Linux+ exam is being developed. Stay tuned!
CompTIA and Apple have announced a partnership whereby passing CompTIA's Network+ exam will entitle a candidate to 50% off of any Apple certification exam. This offer is valid for the rest of 2005. A group called Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES) has created a partnership program that provides free MCP exam vouchers to qualified U.S. military personell, including reservists and the Coast Guard. Accoring to their web site, qualified individuals includ: "Service members in Information Technology (IT)-related occupations and Service members who have gained IT-related experience through training or education". This program will be available unti November 1, 2006 and exam vouchers are good for 2 years at any VUE testing center.
