RHCA Details

Red Hat has announced that their upcoming Red Hat Certified Architect certification will consist of 5 lab exams known as endorsements. Each exam will take between 2 and 8 hours and cost $749. A candidate must have a current RHCE certification and pass all 5 lab exams to achieve the RHCA.

The RHCA or the endorsements achieved will not retire as long as the candidate keeps their RHCE certification current. This program will launch sometime during the spring of this year.

MCSE: Security Numbers

Microsoft claims that over 4,000 people have achieved the MCSE: Security designation since being introduced in 2003.

ISA Server 2004 Exam

Microsoft will make the beta version of their new ISA Server 2004 exam available between March 22 and April 4. The beta version of the exam will be numbered 71-350 and the final version will be 70-350.

Prosoft Training Changes Name

Prosoft Training has changed their name to Prosoft Learning Corporation in order to better reflect their core mission and future direction. Prosoft is the company that runs the Certified Internet Webmaster (CIW) certification program.

Article: What To Do During The CCNA Exam

Beginning March 16, 2005, individuals who currently hold an active CCSP certification may renew their certification by completing one of the following options:

* Pass the current Cisco SAFE Implementation Exam
* Pass any CCIE written exam
* Achieve the CCIE certification

CCSP certifications are valid for three years from the award date, and must be renewed before they expire. To determine the current status of your CCSP certification, visit the Cisco Career certification Tracking System.
