I'm Back:
Just got back from a wonderful and much needed vacation in Eleuthera, Bahamas. I cleared out the cobwebs and I am ready to get back into it. Obviously, there is not much new to report on the site as I have been gone, but we do have a bunch of new materials on deck. Expect to start seeing some of these this coming week.

| Cisco Announces CCNA Prep Center Pilot |
|
Cisco is testing out a new prep center that is available free to candidates who have already taken at least 1 Cisco exam in the past (pass or fail). The Prep Center will offer study materials including practice tests, labs, tips and more. If you qualify, you can login to the Prep Center here.
Prosoft Training (Trinity Learning) has announced that the CIW Foundations will be updated to v5 in October, 2004 in order to reflect current technologies. The current version will be available until December, 2004. If you already have a CIW Foundations certification, you are not required to upgrade, although you may if you would like to.

| CompTIA Extends A+ Mix and Match Grace Period |
|
CompTIA has announced that they will extend the grace period for candidates to mix exams from the 2001 and 2003 exam objectives until September 30th. CompTIA announced that this was done in order to coincide with academic calendars.
